Pictures of Esther... and stuff

It's been a while since we have put up pictures, especially of Esther. Since it's Mike posting, you'll get a few random pictures thrown in at the end as well. Enjoy!

Here is a picture through the window of the construction going on in our backyard over the past month. This was not good for Esther's afternoon naps as you can imagine.

She managed to scoot herself under a our armchair, and she thinks she is in trouble so she's trying to look innocent.

First taste of green peas a few weeks ago... She's not a fan.

She is a fan of other foods though...

Rice is her favorite.

Sorry for the blurry pictures, but this is Esther after a good night's sleep--happy as can be with her sock monkey:)

Here is Robyn at the entrance to the Mt. Timpanogas cave, taken last summer. Fun times!!!

This is the starship enterprise about to dock with the death star. Actually, it is a very expensive machine I got to use this past summer for my research project involving a new type of antibiotic. One day, I accidentally spilled some of the chemicals (seen on the right in tubes with blue lids) and no one cared, even though replacing the box of chemicals cost like $300. Science is expensive.

Very hard to see, but if you use your imagination and turn the screen brightness up, you can see the outline of a deer. Our friends live across the street from a big park (actually it is the front of a retirement home near a river) and so they occasionally have some fun wildlife in their front yard.

Here was a cardinal perched on my bike seat a few weeks ago--the birds around here are colorful!

I have a few more random pictures on my phone I need to post, but I'm going to spend some time trying to get videos instead.
Hope a few of these pictures make you smile!
Love,
Mike, Robyn and Esther :)
